• Most Embarrassing Moment:  Being handed the kids menu well in to my teens.  I feared it would happen on a date, but it never did.

• Marital status/kid status/pet status:  Married to the beautiful Michelle, and we have one gorgeous baby girl, no pets.

• Favorite Cartoon Character:  The original Scooby Dooby Doo (the first new movie was terrible, and I refuse to see the second.)

• Why I teach VR:  I believe in the mission of this program.  I want to help the coming generations appreciate and take care of themselves in many ways, one being their sexual health.   (I believe it is one of the most important.)

• For fun I like:  Hanging with my wife, daughter and friends, playing music, hunting, fishing, feeding birds in my yard and basically anything out in the wilderness.  I love going to the mountains when I get the chance and the funds. 

• First crush and what happened:  Candice—I’m not sure what happened.  Our love dwindled shortly after second grade. 

• If I could be an animal:  I would be an eagle.  Protected, freedom, ability to fly.

• Why you became a VR Presenter: I have such a passion for teenagers and helping them to figure out how God meant for us to live.  Purity is so important for physical and mental health, and I hope to help them understand that.

• First crush and what happened: Diana was a classmate that I knew from church. Around 6th or 7th grade, I had a crush on her that she never knew about…she started dating an older (10th grader!) guy…then, she was off my list.

• Most embarrassing moment: The first time I passed gas (tooted, blew wind, stepped on a toad; you know, farted) in front of my girlfriend. She married me anyway, and has since heard much more bean music!

• Nicknames you had in school:  I went by Daniel, but sometimes kids would scream my last name a lot, ‘Harder!  Harder!  Harder!  Oh Yeah!’  I thought I would make a great sex ed teacher – the joke is on them, my last name is spelled ‘Harter’ with a T

• Favorite Sports team:  New Orleans Saints – Who Dat?!

• Most embarrassing moment:  I got into a fight on Halloween Day, and my mom had to come pick me up from the cafeteria – she was dressed in full clown!

• Why you became a VR presenter:  Amazing message!  Truth has so been diluted in modern culture that it is not even recognizable anymore.  This is a great opportunity to proclaim truth.

• First crush (no last names) and what happened to them:  Her name was Sydney, and I put a dead frog in her Science book – didn’t work out so well for me.

• If you could be an animal, which would you be and why?: I would be a cockroach – though despised by people, I would outlast and out travel most other living creatures on Earth.

•  Why you became a VR presenter:  I love teenagers!  They are fun and energizing!  Most of all they need someone to tell them the truth about sex, relationships and to show them a better way to live then what they are hearing from media and society.

•  First crush (no last names) and what happened to them:  I was in the 8th grade.  I had a big case of puppy love.  We dated for a few months, but he broke up with me for his old girlfriend.  They ended up getting married, but I never heard if they had children.  The last I saw him (which was 10 years ago) he was fat and bald. 

• If you could be an animal, which would you be and why:  I would be a deer.  They are beautiful, sweet, elegant, fast, agile, and seem so peaceful.  They wouldn’t hurt a flea.  Their babies are beautiful.

• Why you became a VR presenter: I became a VR presenter so that I could to help students make wise choices now so that they will benefit later.

• Hobbies: I like to read and write freelance articles. I also like to take naps and go on walks with Keith and Rookie.

• First crush (no last names) and what happened to them: I got my first crush in Kindergarten. Beau and I went to school together from Kindergarten to sixth grade. Then he moved away and broke my little middle school heart. I have not seen him in years.

• Favorite Sports team:  Oklahoma Sooners (who else in College) the Denver Broncos for football, and the St. Louis Cardinals for Baseball.

• Most embarrassing moment:  A tie between acting like I was having a seizure so to get a laugh and looking up to a lady who was just standing there.  She told me and the rest of the group that she had seizures and didn’t think that was funny and the time that I spoke for a youth event and had someone approach me after the event to tell me that my zipper was down.

• Favorite Quote:  Be Yourself!  Everyone else is already taken.

• Marital status/kid status/pet status:  Married to my beautiful wife Karen.  Pets:  Romeo, the wonder dog.  He’s a Golden Retriever, and Cleopatra (Cleo for short) who is a short haired Miniature Dauschund.

• Favorite Sports team:  I am a huge sports fan, and since I have lived my entire life in Missouri, I am a huge KC Chiefs fan and Mizzou Tigers fan.  I also cheer for the Royals(although they don't give me many happy moments), the Cardinals, and the Blues.

• Most embarrassing moment:  I honestly can't remember.  Must have successfully blocked them out of my memory!

• Marital status/kid status/pet status: I have an awesome wife--Amie, the cutest baby in the world--Aleah, (sorry to anyone else who has kids!) and a cool dog named Rascal!  What else could a guy need?

• Favorite cartoon character:  I thought Gonzo from the Muppet Babies was cool.  And I always looked up to He-Man, Master of the Universe!

• Why you became a VR presenter:  I love helping students to achieve the best in their lives, and I feel the message presented through VR is a huge necessity in the world we live in!

• Hobbies:  Spending time with the fam (friends too), sports, fantasy sports, playing games, watching movies, going on youth group trips, teaching...yeah, it's all good.

• First crush (no last names) and what happened to them:  Bristy in kindergarten.  She moved away in 1st grade so I thought I would never see her again.  Then in 3rd grade her family moved back, but things were weird then.  Plus, by then there were other girls!

• If you could be an animal, which would you be and why:  A monkey because they seem to always be having fun and people like to watch them in the zoo.  Plus, in high school my friends compared me to Rafiki in the Lion King--wise and somewhat weird!

• Nicknames you had in school: “Lett” – real original with guys. I was a jock, so everyone was known by their last name.

• Favorite Sports team: St. Louis Cardinals-they’ve been “it” all my life!

• Most embarrassing moment: I was 14 years old on a summer trip with my church youth group. We went to a water park, and I forgot to pack swimming trunks.  My Youth Pastor let me borrow an extra pair he brought that was brand new. He had never worn them before. We all decided to go down the biggest slide first and I was the last of the group down. I popped up out of the water at the bottom in front of my entire youth group with see-through trunks.

• Marital status/kid status/pet status: I am married, 11 years with three girls (8, 4 & 1). No pets! I’m allergic

• Why you became a VR presenter: I love to be with teenagers, and I believe in the abstinence message. Youth need good role models and adults who care about them enough to tell them the truth.

• Hobbies: Baseball fan, golfing, fishing, reading and writing, getting out of town with my wife, walks and bike rides with my daughters, camping, having coffee with friends

• First crush (no last names) and what happened to them: Probably either Erin or Leslie and I started young, 1st grade! Erin and I remained friends all the way through High School and Leslie moved away in the 4th or 5th grade.

• If you could be an animal, which would you be and why: I would be an eagle because I love to fly and eagles are unique, majestic and beautiful as well as strong, powerful and graceful. (I do not assume to be these things but I do aspire to them)
